Shanta D Productions is a wedding film studio based in South Africa. We were founded on a simple belief: your wedding day should speak for itself. Every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment - we capture it all so you can relive the magic without ever needing an explanation.
Two filmmakers on the day. Cinematic cameras, but quiet ones. A long edit, finished by hand. The result is a film that ages beautifully - one you'll still want to watch on your tenth, twentieth, fortieth anniversary. Let us take care of the details.

Our philosophy
Four principles, every film.
I.
Story first, gear second.
Cameras and drones serve the moment - never the other way around. We use just enough kit to disappear into your day.

Honour the culture.
Lobola, umembeso, magadi, nikkah, civil - we study the ceremony before we film it. The film should feel made by someone in the room.

Edit like a feature.
Pacing, score, breath. A wedding film is a short film about two people on the most-watched day of their lives.

A private archive, an heirloom USB, and masters cleanly labeled so your grandchildren can find them in 60 years.
